Costa Teguise is a purpose built resort and is regarded as the most exclusive part of Lanzarote, just twenty minutes from the airport. Situated on the south coast of the island, it has beautiful man-made beaches, popular with families, couples young and old.

Sands Beach is a fabulous 4 star complex, which offers space and comfort for everyone. The apartment itself is situates on a private beach with a lagoon. There is always a constant breeze across the bay which is ideal for wind surfers but you would need some sort of cardigan or jumper as sometimes the breeze can be quite nippy from past experience.

The resort provides a number of facilities such as restaurants bars, a gym, its own supermarket, internet access and a kids club with up to seven swimming pools. There is only a short walking distance to public beaches, shops, restaurant and bars. Whether it is an active holiday or a lazy chilled well needed break, there are lots of things to do in and around Costa Teguise. The main tourist resorts are Plays Blanca and Puerto Del Carmen, which are only a short taxi drive away, but there is also the option of hiring a car to get the freedom to explore at your own pace and time.

Just south of Puerto Del Carmen is a place called Puerto Colero which has a fabulous marina considered to be one of the best in the world. If you saw the boats and yachts moored in you would think you were dreaming. It also has a wide range of sea view restaurants, a whale museum and an art gallery. The nightlife in Costa Teguise is a lot quieter than Puerto Del Carmen, so if you fancy partying the night away with family and friends then it's only a short taxi drive away.

In Costa Teguise however, there is a wide range of bars and restaurants along the Avienda Islas de Canaries near Toca Shopping Centre. There are many restaurants and bars where you can sit and relax and watch it all go by along the seafront promenade. Arricefe has a fabulous shopping centre. ATMs are located all over Costa Teguise as well as the Bureau de Change so you will never be stuck for ash if you tend to overindulge. The Sunday market at Teguise, the old capital of the island, is well worth visiting as is the Friday evening market in Costa Teguise town centre.

Sky Sports showing most live Premiership games are widely available in bars all over Costa Teguise, so you can see games that you wouldn't be able to watch live in the UK. There are also many excursions and trips available which can be booked from many locations in Costa Teguise. All of these attractions make Costa Teguise the perfect place to spend your holidays.
